Ambulance en route to ORMC involved in accident

NEW WINDSOR – A 4:30 a.m.
accident at Five Corners in Vails Gate injured three people in an ambulance
and one in another vehicle.

New Windsor Town Police reported that at about 4:30, a Cornwall Ambulance
Corps ambulance was traveling to Orange Regional Medical Center when it
entered the intersection with its emergency lights on, but no siren.

The ambulance struck another vehicle that had already entered the intersection.

All four of the injured were taken to St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital
in Newburgh where they were treated and released.
