WAPPINGER – Two New Jersey
men were arrested on Sunday after state police made a traffic stop on
Route 376 in the Town of Wappinger and found marijuana and ecstasy in
their van.
Luis Paez, 36, of Belleville and Jonathan Vazquez, 35, of Newark, were each charged with felony drug possession. Paez was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. State Police found 3.5 grams of marijuana and 1.25 grams of ecstasy in their van.
Both men were sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
