POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the Poughkeepsie area continue to investigate
two crimes that occurred on Tuesday.

In the City of Poughkeepsie, a crime scene remains today at 2 Wantagh
Avenue where CSU investigators are present.
Police are tight-lipped about what happened, but yellow crime scene tape
is across the front door of the facility.

Police will only say they are in the midst of a criminal investigation.

Also, in the Town of Poughkeepsie, a TEG Federal Credit Union branch was
held up with the robber fleeing in a stolen car, which was found abandoned
at the Rip Van Winkle apartments in the City of Poughkeepsie.

It could not be learned if both crimes are linked.
