POUGHKEEPSIE – Authorities in the City of Poughkeepsie aren’t
saying much about a police presence at 2 Wantagh Avenue this afternoon.
Det. Lt. Matthew Clark would only say the department is in the midst of
an active police investigation at that address.
A couple of police cars and a crime scene van were observed at the site
and a man was removed, believe to have been taken to MidHudson Regional
Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
A police radio report also indicated that the car belonging to the 68-year-old
man was missing.
