Town of Thompson officials take oath of office

MONTICELLO – Town of Thompson officials who begin new terms on New Year’s Day were sworn in this past week at Town Hall.  Sullivan County Judge Mark Meddaugh did the honors.
Taking the oath were Supervisor William Rieber, Town Clerk Marilee Calhoun, Council members John Pavese and Melinda Meddaugh, daughter-in-law to the judge, Highway Superintendent Rich Benjamin and Town Justice Marty Miller.
Council members Peter Briggs and Scott Mace are in the middle of their four-year terms.
