Crash remains under investigation
CHATHAM – A Chatham man was killed late Saturday morning when the pickup truck he was driving ran off Waldorf Road in Chatham and struck a tree and came to rest in the roadway.
David Mitchison, 59, died at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for January 2.
The cause of the 11:18 a.m. accident just west of Route 203 remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were Valatie Rescue Squad and North Chatham Fire Department.
