Sullivan County fire damages home

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS –
Fire at mid-morning on Wednesday damaged a house at 793 Briscoe Road in
White Sulphur Springs.

The blaze started as a chimney fire and extended into the house.

Several area fire departments were called in under mutual aid. The Red
Cross also responded to assist the residents.

There were reports of one firefighter suffering injuries including scrapes
and a sprained ankle.
