RYE – A Stone Mountain, Georgia woman was arrested for possessing an unregistered handgun after her car ran out of gas on I-95 in the City of Rye.
State Police stopped to assist Michelle Monroe, 32, about 10:30 p.m. on December 17 and she was found in possession of the weapon and 1.6 grams of marijuana.
Monroe was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
