Brescia to continue as chairman of the Orange County Legislature

GOSHEN – Orange County Legislature Chairman Stephen Brescia, a Republican, will continue serving in that capacity in the new year.
The 15-member GOP caucus voted unanimously to keep him in the top spot.
The five Democrats have yet to meet, but Michael Paduch, the longest tenured member of the caucus, has expressed interest in the post.
The 21st seat is held by an Independent.
