PLATTEKILL – A Lagrangeville man was arrested early Sunday morning after a stabbing at a large house party on Jorge Lane in the Town of Plattekill.
When the party was dispersing, a fight broke out resulting in injuries. Two area hospitals called police to report two people were being treated for stab wounds.
State Police investigated and arrested Jovan Wilkins, 25, on a charge of armed assault. Wilkins was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
The investigation is ongoing. Troopers are asking anyone with information related to the incident to call them at 845-691-2922.
