PLATTEKILL – A 25-year-old Lagrangeville man was arrested early
Sunday morning after a stabbing at a large house party on Jorge Lane in
the Town of Plattekill.
When the party was dispersing, a fight broke out resulting in injuries
and State Police investigated and arrested Jovan Wilkins on a charge of
armed assault. Two area hospitals called police to report two people were
being treated for stab wounds.
Wilkins was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
The investigation is ongoing and troopers are asking anyone with information
related to the incident to call them at 845-691-2922.
