WURTSBORO – A Grand Gorge
woman is under arrest charged with stealing the identity of another person
to obtain medical benefits from Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris
on May 16.

The investigation also revealed Stacey Wilson, 36, allegedly forged the
name of the other person during commission of the act.

Wilson was located in Delaware County by investigators from State Police
at Wurtsboro and transported back to Sullivan County where she was charged
with forgery, insurance fraud, and identity theft, all as felonies, and
criminal impersonation as a misdemeanor.

Wilson was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash
bail or $10,000 bond.

State Police at Wurtsboro were assisted by the Sullivan County District
Attorney’s Office, State Police in Margaretville and the Delaware
County Sheriff’s Office.
