Dinapoli: “It’s a terrible time
for us

MIDDLETOWN – The Republican-controlled federal government is wreaking havoc on the State of New York, state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said.
DiNapoli, a Democrat, said while in Middletown over the weekend, that Washington is not doing any justice for the Empire State.
“It is a terrible time for us in New York between the healthcare cuts being proposed, repeal of Obamacare, the federal budget cuts, this gutting of deductibility of state and local taxes really hitting us hard; that’s a triple whammy right there staring us down,” the comptroller said.
DiNapoli said Democrats have been down before, but he is confident they will pick themselves up and continue to be a political force in Washington.
