PINE ISLAND – Two people were killed and two others injured in a one-car crash in Pine Island just before 7:30 Saturday night.
Police on the scene said the car ran off the roadway and flipped on its side in the front yard of an unoccupied house at 420 Glenwood Road just north of the Jersey border.
All four people were trapped in the vehicle. Two women were killed and two men were taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries, police said.
Warwick Police investigated with assistance from State Police. Firefighters from Pine Island, Unionville and Warwick were on the scene.
Police are still investigating.
