KINGSTON – An Ulster County
Court jury has convicted a Kingston man on a charge of obstructing governmental
administration.

The case against Fabian Marshall, 27, arose in September 2015. Kingston
Police responded to a report of an assault on Broadway. Officers tried
to interview Marshall, who was in the same area as the reported assault
and matched the description of the assailant.

Marshall refused to comply, became uncooperative and fought with officers.
That fight prevented to police from investigating the assault further.

Marshall will be sentence in January of the new year.
