CANAAN – A traffic stop for speeding led to the arrests of two High Point, North Carolina men on a charge of felony possession of marijuana.
State Police stopped a car going 30 miles over the speed limit on Route 295 in Canaan and found 15 pounds of marijuana and five hydrocodone pills in their possession.
Eric Allen, 48, and James Brown, 62, were both sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond each.
