Biker ran a red light
CARMEL – A Stormville man is in Danbury Hospital being treated for trauma injuries to his head and right leg following a motorcycle-car accident on Route 6 late Sunday afternoon.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reported that the cycle operator, Dwayne Cantelmo, 44, ran a red light at the intersection with Route 52 in Carmel in front of Reed Memorial Library and broadsided a car. Cantelmo was thrown from the cycle.
He was transported to the hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.
