Kingston budget hearing draws little interest

NEW PALTZ – A vehicle
and traffic stop on Main Street in New Paltz led to the arrest of a Kingston
man on drug charges.

Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over Allen McGraw, 37, at
about 4:22 p.m. on Sunday, October 22 and investigation revealed he had
cocaine in his possession, which he attempted to discard. As a result,
he was charged with the felonies of criminal possession of drugs and tampering
with physical evidence and misdemeanors of DWI with a blood alcohol content
of .08 percent and vehicle and traffic violations.

He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Deputies were
assisted by New Paltz and SUNY New Paltz police.
