POUGHKEEPSIE – The Women’s
Enterprise Development Center for Professional Service will receive financial
support from the Dutchess County Local Development Corporation.
The center, located at the LDC/IDA offices in Poughkeepsie, is not just tasked with assisting women in business, said LDC Executive Director Sarah Lee.
“They also serve special ed populations including mature adults, child care providers, survivors of domestic violence, veterans and the dislocated worker,” Lee said.
The LDC will provide $15,000 in cash and $9,000 in in-kind services to the Enterprise Development Center.
