SUV is stuck under the rear of the trailer
CHESTER – An accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer on Route 17 west in the Town of Chester late Sunday afternoon resulted in the closure of the highway in both directions in the area of exit 126 for a period of time.
One person was extricated from the SUV. The extent of injuries was not
immediately known.
The trailer caught fire and local fire departments responded.
State Police investigated.
