POUGHKEEPSIE – Poughkeepsie
firefighters responded to reports of a fire at 12 Hudson Avenue Friday
morning.
The fire at the location known as “The Bricks,” was brought
under control quickly.
The blaze started in a second-floor bedroom and sent one resident to
a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
The Poughkeepsie Housing Authority was working to find accommodations
for the three displaced residents.
