Town clerks in Orange, Sullivan join forces for Puerto Rico relief

GOSHEN – Town clerks in Orange and Sullivan counties have banded together to collect items to offer relief to the residents of Puerto Rico, devastated by Hurricane Maria last week.
Items may be dropped off at town clerks offices in the towns of Monroe, Chester, Cornwall, Deerpark, Tuxedo, Minisink, Wallkill, Warwick, Blooming Grove, Crawford, Highlands, Goshen, Montgomery, Newburgh, Forestburgh, Callicoon, Liberty and Bethel. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Goshen is also a drop-off point.
Items needed include bottled water, aspirin, adult and children’s diapers, Clorox wipes, baby wipes, baby formula, batteries of all sizes, flashlights, any non-perishable food items, can openers, feminine hygiene products, soap, tooth brushes, toothpaste and bug spray.
