ALBANY – The state Public Service Commission has scheduled public comment sessions concerning electric and gas delivery rate changes for Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation.
The sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at Poughkeepsie Town Hall, Tuesday, October 10 at Kingston City Hall and Monday, October 16 at Newburgh Town Hall.  Information sessions on all three dates will be held at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. with public statement hearings at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Central Hudson wants to increase its annual electric and gas delivery rates on July 1, 2018. Included in the proposals are funding for modernizing its electric and gas infrastructure and information technology systems, enhances workforce training, re-establishing a four-year cycle for distribution line clearance and a five-year cycle for transmission line right-of-way maintenance, and implementing a new low-income bill discount program.
