Sullivan IDA secures federal funding for two businesses

WASHINGTON – The US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Business Development Grant program has awarded $509,642 to the Sullivan County Industrial Development Agency for two businesses.
Catskill Brewery will receive $314,420 to help it further expand, creating seven jobs and growing the demand for locally sources hops and grains.
Goodness Grainless Bakery, which produces gluten-free, nut-free, and allergen-free products, will receive $195,222 to grow the demand for locally sources produce and create five jobs.
The mission of the USDA’s Rural Development program is to increase economic opportunity and improve the quality of life for rural residents.
