NEW CITY – A Spring Valley man was sentenced in Rockland County Court to 14 years in state prison and 20 years of post-release supervision on his March 6 guilty plea to first-degree rape.
Eduardo Najera, 34, had forcible sex with the child twice between June 1 and August 28, 2015 in his home.
“Today’s sentence is a measure of justice for the young victim in this case who endured a traumatic ordeal at the hands of the defendant,” District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said.
