BEAR MOUNTAIN – The body
recovered from the Hudson River beneath the Bear Mountain Bridge on Wednesday
evening has been identified as a Monsey woman who jumped to her death
on April 26, authorities Thursday.
Malky Lebowitz had apparently driven to the bridge on that April evening
and jumped into the river.
At the time, police said there were no witnesses; however, a surveillance
camera video showed her jumping from the Westchester side of the bridge.
