Traffic stop leads to felony drug charges

TOWN OF ULSTER – A traffic stop on Colonel Chandler Drive in the Town of Ulster led to charges of drug possession against a woman.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies stopped Jeanine Barker, 61, of Kingston at 9:50 p.m. on Monday and recovered several bags of crack cocaine in her car.
Barker was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and several traffic violations and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
