Man struck and killed on Metro-North tracks in Westchester

NEW YORK – A 45-year-old
man was struck and killed by a southbound Metro-North Railroad train Wednesday
morning at the Port Chester station, MTA officials said.

The incident occurred at 5:13 a.m. as the train was traveling from Stamford
to Grand Central Terminal.

Authorities said the victim was from Port Chester.

The incident is under investigation and an identification will be made
public pending notification of relative.
