Bedroom fire extinguished in Spring Valley

Quick response. No injuries.

SPRING VALLEY – An early morning fire at 42 Prospect Street in Spring Valley on Tuesday damaged a third-floor bedroom.  There were no reports of injuries.
Spring Valley firefighters arrived shortly after 4 a.m. to find smoke showing with the bedroom on fire.  They quickly knocked down the fire, leaving damage to a minimum.
The cause remains under investigation.
