MONTICELLO – Police are investigating the shooting of a 31-year-old Monticello man. It happened near the basketball courts at around 7:15 Saturday evening. Officers found spent shell casings and blood on a sidewalk.
Shortly thereafter, police were notified by Catskill Regional Medical Center that a man had been driven to the hospital in Harris by private vehicle and was being treated for a gunshot wound to his left ankle. He was later transferred to Westchester Medical Center.
