KINGSTON – A Kingston man was committed to the Ulster County Jail
following his arrest on a parole violation charge.
Jeffrey Munoz, 30, was arrested when the Kingston City Police Special
Investigations Unit and the state Division of Parole conducted an investigation
and determined he was in an apartment above a Broadway business.
When police attempted to make contact with Munoz, he attempted to flee
by climbing out of a second story window onto a roof. He was taken into
custody following a brief struggle.
Munoz was charged with violation of parole, resisting arrest and obstructing
governmental administration.
