Columbia County Sheriff’s investigators at the scene
TOWN OF CLAVERACK – A 29-year-old Copake man was reported in stable
condition at Albany Medical Center on Saturday following an early morning
one-car accident on Columbia County Route 11 near Mc Brown Road in the
Town of Claverack.
Sheriff’s deputies said a 2002 Saturn, driven by Martin Rollins
left the road striking a large boulder then continuing on striking several
trees before coming to rest on its side. He was alone in the vehicle.
Police said the investigation is continuing; they are looking at speed
as a major contributing factor for the accident.
