I-84 crash ties up traffic

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – An accident on westbound Interstate 84 in the Town of Newburgh resulted in traffic being backed up for a considerable distance.
The incident left one lane blocked just past exit 10.
An eye witness who was on the scene moments after first responders arrived said a car was in the eastbound lane being put on a flatbed truck before an overpass. A tractor-trailer was parked facing eastbound in the westbound lanes after an overpass.
The guardrail was flattened by the 18-wheeler as it crossed into the opposite lanes of traffic facing in the wrong direction.
