HIGHLAND – Lloyd Town Supervisor Paul Hansut is going to run for a fourth two-year term in the fall.
He has already won the Conservative Party endorsement and this week expects to receive the Republican backing.
In his six years at the helm in Lloyd, Hansut said he has brought transparency to town government and toed the line on expenses.
“Within the five budgets that I have created we stayed below the New York State property tax without cutting any services,” Hansut said. “I believe we have created an environment in the town where we are fiscally conservative. I try very hard to look out for the taxpayer dollar as much as I can as well as top class services for the community.”
Prior to being elected to Lloyd town supervisor, Hansut served as an Ulster County legislator for two terms.
