All 21 Faith Christian Academy graduates are heading to colleges and universities

POUGHKEEPSIE – Faith Christian Academy in Poughkeepsie celebrated the graduation of 21 students on Saturday, June 17, in a ceremony at the school’s Casperkill campus in Poughkeepsie.  This is the FCA’s largest graduating class and its 5th since the school expanded to an accredited High School in 2010.

Dutchess County Executive, Marcus Molinaro delivered the keynote address and challenged the graduates to stand true to their faith in a world of uncertainty and to live a life of service as an example of their Christian faith and to above all be kind even in the face of adversity and great challenges.
The 2017 class Valedictorian was Sydney Kathryn Beck. Salutatorian was Jordyn Amanda Britton.
Graduates are: Aimee Elizabeth Baker, Alexandra Rose Beck, Sydney Kathryn Beck, Jordyn Amanda Britton, Andrew Thomas Cruz, Nicholas Matthew Koch, Jiahao (Maria) Fu, Lianjie Ge, Minghe Hao, John Kiernan, Ato Kwamena Maranga, Cheyenne  Willi´ Mathis, Samantha Mari Pacheco, Isaac David Samuel Sabado, Emily Ann Santiago, Hallie Madison Tompkins, Zhejian Wang, Yuan (Sherry) Xue, Kaisheng Zhang, Yue (Carol) Zhao, Shijia Zhang
All of the graduates are heading to college in the fall of 2017 attending academic institutions such as  Dutchess Community College, Fordham University, Howard University, Marist College, Pace University, Penn State University, San Diego Kenyon College, Gordon College, Herkimer Community College, SUNY Geneseo & Nyack College.
