TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police say the man whose weapon of choice was a screwdriver in robbery of a clerk at the JC Penny department store in the Town of Wallkill is in custody.     
Kenneth Niebuhr, 28, of Beacon, was arrested following an investigation into the 3:42 p.m. incident on June 8 in which he allegedly threatened an employee and removed money from a cash register.
He was charged with armed robbery and is in the Orange County in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
