Gunman holds up Marlboro Dollar General store

MARLBORO – A man wearing
a black mask, sunglasses and gloves and armed with what appeared to be
a black semi-automatic handgun held up the Dollar General store at 2 Riverview
Drive in Marlboro around 10:30 Sunday night.
He didn’t get anything after he ordered the clerk to the rear of the store and an altercation took place.   The bandit fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Assisting Marlborough Police at the scene were State Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office with a K-9 unit.
