Peekskill man charged with unlawful surveillance

CORTLANDT – A Peekskill man was arrested by State Police at Cortlandt on a felony charge of unlawful surveillance.
Troopers were called to the Kohl’s department store on Main Street in Cortlandt for a suspicious man taking photos of a female patron. Loss prevention personnel reported they observed Jeremiah Jones, 36, taking a photo of a customer wearing a skirt as she bent over to pick up an item from the floor.
Jones was identified and located the same day, May 17. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Cortlandt Town Court
