KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston arrested a city man following an investigation into drug sales.
Carl McDonald, 40, of Center Street in Kingston was arrested on Monday, May 8 and charged with felonies of criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance. Following execution of a search warrant at his residence, members of the Special Investigations Unit seized a substantial amount of cocaine, a semi-automatic handgun, a rifle and ammunition for both weapons.
McDonald was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
