KINGSTON –Residents of
Kingston are asked to take part in the PlacesforBikes program questionnaire
to determine the best cities in the country for bicycling.
The survey is being undertaken by People for Bikes, a national bike advocacy group working to make biking better in the US.
Mayor Steven Noble said Kingston is a great place to bike.
“It’s a way to gather more information about what’s happening in other parts of our community,” Noble said.  “We do have a lot of rail trails in the area so we do have a lot of cycling enthusiasts here in Kingston.”
In the fall, People for Bikes is expected to publish the first data-driven city bicycling ratings.
