Stackhouse
NEWBURGH – An early morning warrant search at 84 William Street in Newburgh resulted in the arrest of a man and the seizure of drugs.
The arrest of Lavelle Stackhouse, 20, stemmed from an investigation into narcotics sales at that address. Police seized 1,060 glassine envelopes of heroin with a total weight of 26.5 grams, as well as miscellaneous drug packaging materials.
Stackhouse was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one felony count of tampering with physical evidence.
