TOWN OF WALLKILL – The $2.2 million sidewalk installation project on the Route 211 East shopping center strip in the Town of Wallkill is underway.
The project, which is funded mostly with state dollars, will run from Dunning Road at Walmart to the Middletown city line.
Town Supervisor Daniel Depew said the project will add another positive
dimension to the shopping district experience.
“Years ago we made a commitment that we wanted to make Wallkill’s
retail corridor the safest, cleanest, most convenient retail location
in the Hudson Valley and this is a step in that direction,” Depew
said.
The work should be completed in three to four months.

Another enhancement for the busy Route 211 retail corridor
