Plane crashes at Sky Acres Airport

UNION VALE – An airplane carrying four people flipped over off the runway on landing at Sky Acres Airport in Union Vale at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday.
State Police said the single-engine fixed-wing Cessna Skyhawk II was attempting to land on Runway 17 when it ran off the east shoulder and came to rest overturned in a small pond.
One passenger was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for minor injuries.
The FAA is investigating.
