Diggs
CORTLANDT – State Police arrested a Peekskill man on a charge of robbery in connection with a holdup at a ShopRite store on East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt just before midnight on March 28.
Investigation including interviews with witnesses and review of surveillance video determined that Calvin Diggs, 50, was the same suspect in two previous grocery store robberies being investigated by Peekskill City Police.
Diggs was located at the Watergate Motel in Cortlandt and arrested without incident. He was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or bond.
