TOWN OF WALLKILL – The
father of a student at the William A. Carter Elementary School student
was arrested Friday and charged with threatening to blow up the school.

Wallkill Town Police said just before 8 a.m., school staff reported during
an earlier phone call with an irate parent, Kendell Thomas, 35, that he
made the threat.

Investigation led Wallkill detectives to a City of Middletown residence
where Thomas was charged.

He was arraigned and released pending a future court appearance.
