Three arrested in string of Sullivan County burglaries

MONTICELLO – Police have
arrested three men on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property
and drug possession following a three-week investigation.

The crimes occurred in several towns in Sullivan County and were investigated
by State Police, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Fallsburg Police
and the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office.

On March 20, police arrested Albert Quick, 29, of Woodbourne; Greig Quick,
31, of Woodbourne; and Joseph Brown, 33, of Montgomery. Police also executed
four search warrants resulting in the recovery of several hundred pieces
of stolen jewelry, a stolen and defaced semi-automatic pistol, and 150
bags of heroin.

Albert Quick was charged with several counts of burglary, attempted burglary
and criminal possession of a weapon.
Greig Quick was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Brown was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and
tampering with physical evidence.

Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues, police
said.

All three men were remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail.
