Orange County develops Complete Streets program

GOSHEN – Orange County
is working up a Complete Streets program to be applied eventually to all
county and local municipal roads.
The Green Committee of the county legislature, headed by Barry Cheney,
is in the process of reviewing the initiative.
“Complete Streets focuses on the non-motorized aspect of people going from one place to another,” Cheney said.
That would include bikeways, walkways and bike lanes along roadways.
