Brooklyn woman charged with identity theft, grand larceny

TOWN OF ULSTER – A Brooklyn woman is charged with several counts of identity theft, grand larceny and forgery, all as felonies, in connection with the theft of a woman’s identity.
State and Town of Ulster Police alleged that Nataliya Karlova stole the identity of another person, opened several credit cards in the victim’s name, and used the fraudulently obtained credit cards to make purchases in the towns of Ulster, Newburgh and Wallkill.
Karlova was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.
