TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – A small airplane landed in a cornfield about one mile short of the runway at the Orange County Airport in Montgomery on Sunday afternoon.
The two people onboard were not injured when the plane came down near
the Orange County Sheriff’s canine training facility.
The cause of the emergency landing was engine failure, officials said,
