Middletown residents under arrest for home invasion robbery

TOWN OF CRAWFORD – A Middletown man and woman were committed to
the Orange County Jail following their arrests in connection with a home
invasion robbery on County Route 17 in the Town of Crawford.

Town Police were called to the scene around 9:11 a.m. on Saturday, March
4 and learned that two people forced their way into a residence, assaulted
and injured a 24-year-old man, stole belongings and damaged property.

The robbers had a two-year-old child with them at the time they committed
the crime.

David Morris, 38, and Alyssa Brown, 21, both of Middletown, were each
charged with burglary, robbery, assault, criminal trespass, endangering
the welfare of a child, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal
mischief and grand larceny.
Morris was remanded on $20,000 cash bail and Brown on $15,000 cash bail.
